Welcome To North West Food Hygiene Training (NWFT)

We provide training and consultancy services to the food industry. We offer a wide range of Food Hygiene, HACCP, Quality, Auditing and Management consultancy training. North West Food Hygiene is based in Co. Leitrim, Ireland and is a registered training centre for CIEH; we offer a wide range of qualifications using experienced trainers.

Our training is offered on an ‘in-house’ or ‘on-site’ basis, i.e. we come to you, to train a number of people. In house Food Safety & HACCP training can be more cost effective than sending people on courses and will give you far greater value for money as we prepare each course geared towards the process of the company.

For anyone involved in the food industry i.e. people who own or work in restaurants, café’s, hotels, pubs, supermarkets, catering businesses and food processing companies we provide you with your food hygiene training requirements.

What we offer:

Our trainers are licensed to deliver Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) courses in food safety. In addition to providing training we also offer consultancy services to these industries and people. Areas such as site support for regulatory inspections (HSE, Department of Agriculture, and Environmental Health), site support for customer inspections, meeting customer standards and third party accreditation audits (BRC Food Safety Standard, Bord Bia Food Standards & ISO 22000) requirements. We also carry out Internal Audits (unannounced if requested) to monitor and audit Food Safety and Food Hygiene within the industry environment and quality management systems, this is a documented audit report. We also carry out Supplier Auditing programmes which include Supplier Risk assessments, audit frequency and scope, audit format & standards, follow up and review of close out actions.

Sales and Business Development:

We have experienced consultants that have track records of delivering results in sales, profit and customer service. With over 20 year’s experience in food production they can offer advice on production, health and safety, human resources, purchasing, stock control, financial management, sales and supplier network. Our consultants are trained in general management and office management skills, customer service, production planning and forecasting, supplier liaison, financial management, sales and are qualified to Green Belt in Lean/Six Sigma Process Engineering.
